Women are creating NFT projects that are sitting at the top of the charts and are forever shaping the web3 industry.
One 13-year-old girl launched an nft collection that has already generated over $4 million, and another popular woman-led NFT project sold more than $40 million in the first two weeks of 2022.
But, money isn't the only initiative for these women-led nft projects.
Many women NFT artists are using their nonfungible tokens to create a more diverse and inclusive space in the crypto, web3, blockchain, and NFT (non-fungible token) world.
There's an apparent gender gap between the number of men compared to the number of women in crypto. Male creators represent 77% of NFT art sales, while only 5% go to women creators.
However, the NFT industry is greatly expanding and diversifying as new female nft artists and creators release new NFT collections every day that showcase new use cases and utilities that shift the direction of NFTs.
Without question, this is only the beginning of NFTs and web.3 development.
Don't believe me?
Today alone, over 1,487.36 MILLION TPS (transactions per second) are traded in Ether (Ethereum).
Now, let's dive into how these empowering women-led projects use their nft artwork collections and devoted communities to help shape the industry.

The bold NFT project was launched back in October 2021 and the initial art collection of 10,000 pieces sold out on launch day!
**Check out this interview about the NFT artist on Medium.
The NFTs (non-fungible tokens) were intentionally equipped with weapons like daggers, brass knuckles, and nunchucks to help showcase and bring more power to women in an era where they were viewed as less powerful.
One of the most interesting and cool aspects of the symbolism of the weapons included in the collection is they are symbols of empathy, intelligence, kindness, and education.
Here is a video on the social media platform, Twitter showing the talented artist creating one of her NFT (non-fungible tokens).

The WAW NFT collection was also created to become a vehicle to raise money for charity and utilize platforms to make a difference in the world.
The first step of their mission is their commitment to donate 5% of the collection's profits to the Malala Fund (where all girls can learn and lead without fear).
As you can see in the tweet below, they reached their goal by donating 25 ETH (over $100,000) to the @MalalaFund!

About the Long Neckie Ladies (LNL) nft collection:
The founder, leader, and artist of this NFT project is an inspirational 13-year-old girl named Nyla Hayes, who started drawing at age four and created her first NFT at the age of nine.
The Long Neckie Ladies (LNL) is an NFT collection "created for dreamers" that consists of 3,333 pieces of fine art, hand-drawn, computer-generated elegant females of all races that feature an elongated neck.
The inspiration for the Long Neckie Ladies collection came from Nyla's favorite childhood TV show, Dino Dan. Where she fell in love with the gentle, yet brave Brontosaurs who she referred to as "long neckie."
