10 Apps Every Entrepreneur Has On Their Phone
Many entrepreneurs and business owners love slack because Slack created a place where your entire team increase productivity and easily communicate about tasks with each other.
The Slack workspace allows you to organize communications by channels for group discussions and allows for private messages to share information, files, and more all in one place.
Slack makes it easier for my team to communicate with each other because their channels help keep our conversations more organized and streamlined.
2. Google Calendar
It doesn't matter if you're someone who lives and dies by their calendar or if you're someone who doesn't use a schedule at all.
But, if you do like to use a calendar, then Google Calendar might be right for you.
With Google Calendar, you can quickly schedule meetings, events, and get reminders about upcoming activities.
The calendar is designed for teams, so if you have an assistant, they can easily add something to your schedule.
Who doesn't love an app that keeps all of your emails organized all in one place?
Gmail is an easy to use email app that saves you time and keeps your emails organized in one place.
You can also add and switch between multiple email accounts, even if they aren't Gmail email addresses.
One of the features I like is how the app will autocomplete and auto-respond to your emails. I don't always have the time or want to take the time to think about what to say, so the auto suggestions are great and to use.
Voxer is one app that saves business owners and entrepreneurs a ton of time throughout the day. Voxer is an app that's popular amongst entrepreneurs who like to frequently communicates with their team members.
If you aren't familiar with Voxer, it's a Walkie Talkie messaging app for your smartphone with live voice, text, photo, and location sharing.
Voxer makes it easy to quickly and easily communicate via voice chat and not have to have a long call with someone or have to leave a voicemail.
If you don't want to write out a long email or type out a long text, you can simply send them a voice chat at the click of a button.
Why not make your life easier, right?
5. Delta Airlines
If you're an entrepreneur, I'm sure you're familiar with traveling. I already know that having an airline app is essential to any entrepreneur -- or really anyone who travels.
The Delta app lets you check-in, request extra care, and get notified of any updates for your flight. A feature that I find useful is the luggage tracker. You can track your luggage and get updates on where your luggage is located.
The Delta Airlines app is especially great when you or the airport loses your luggage so you can easily track it.
No one likes to sit and wait in traffic, especially when you're in a hurry. Waze saves so much time when it comes to traffic.
Waze is always monitoring traffic and can even help you find a parking place -- which is super cool!
One of my favorite features of Waze is that it will show you an alternate route. Hence, you bypass high traffic areas, hazards, or accidents.
OpenTable is a great app for entrepreneurs who frequently like to make friends, clients, etc. out to dinner.
You can always find a great restaurant when you need one, and it's super easy to find a restaurant for any occasion.
The cool thing is there are over 52,000 restaurants worldwide with the OpenTable app that you can choose from!
Spotify is one of my favorite apps.
This app is for anyone who enjoys music or listening to podcasts.
I am someone who always has music playing in the background, and I like to listen to podcasts every opportunity I get, which is why I love Spotify.
WhatsApp is a great free app that many entrepreneurs use regularly, and many entrepreneurs prefer to connect through WhatsApp.
WhatsApp makes it easy to have group chats with pretty much anyone, and it's an easy way to communicate.
Our jobs and lives require us to travel, and these apps come in handy when we need a ride somewhere, especially when we don't have a car.
Here's a little about them if you aren't familiar:
Uber is a ridesharing app for fast, reliable rides in minutes—day or night.
Lyft is your friend with a car whenever you need one. Download the app and get a ride from a friendly driver within minutes.
Here's The Recap
Most entrepreneurs have their hands in different buckets at the same time, and it makes all the difference when something can make your day easier.
One thing I like to say is it doesn't matter how busy you are; it matters how productive you are.
I believe that these apps can help make your life a little easier and more streamlined.
